These Terms & Conditions govern the contractual relationship between the European Institute for Safe Communication (EISCOM) and participants in its services, programmes and events.

These Terms & Conditions (T&C) apply to all services and events offered by the European Institute for Safe Communication (EISCOM). They govern the contractual relationship between service users and event participants (hereinafter "Contracting Parties") and EISCOM.
These T&C are binding for all Contracting Parties. By purchasing services or booking events, the Contracting Parties accept these Terms & Conditions. They form an integral part of every contract concluded between the Contracting Parties and EISCOM unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any deviations require written form.
Booking of services or events is carried out through the EISCOM website and is binding. It requires the correct entry of first and last name as well as a valid email address. Contracting Parties are responsible for protecting their login credentials.
The contract is concluded upon completion of the online booking. Confirmation of payment constitutes acceptance of the contract. There is no entitlement to the conclusion of a contract.
The contract ends upon provision of the agreed service or after the booked event has taken place. Early termination by the Contracting Party is not permitted.
EISCOM reserves the right to limit the number of participants for quality reasons. Registrations are processed in the order received and confirmed by email.
Participation in events requires payment of the applicable participation fee. Payment takes place during online registration. Any discount systems apply only to purchases of multiple services or events made on the same day.
Current prices published on the EISCOM website include VAT and form an integral part of the contract.
The participation fee applies per person and per event session. It includes beverages, refreshments, lunch (for full-day events), and all event materials.
EISCOM reserves the right to cancel events for urgent reasons or insufficient participant numbers. Participation fees already paid will be refunded or credited toward another EISCOM event.
EISCOM may replace announced speakers, reassign participants to different sessions, or make programme changes provided the overall character of the event is preserved.
During events, EISCOM or persons commissioned by EISCOM may create photo, video or audio recordings for documentation, information and marketing purposes. Participants who do not wish to appear in such recordings must notify EISCOM before the event begins.
Contracting Parties are responsible for obtaining any necessary insurance coverage. EISCOM does not provide insurance services and assumes no liability for damages resulting from force majeure, accidents, illness or death.
Private cancellation insurance is recommended. This does not affect contractual obligations towards EISCOM.
Liability for personal injury or property damage is excluded except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
EISCOM is not liable for errors caused by third parties, technical disruptions, defective software, malware, spyware or operational interruptions resulting from maintenance work or technical adjustments.
Upon request, EISCOM conducts in-house seminars and events. Organisation and delivery are governed by a separate written agreement.
All content provided by EISCOM—including presentations, documents, scripts, methods, concepts, videos, photographs, digital learning materials, online platforms and all other materials—remains the exclusive intellectual property of EISCOM and is protected by copyright.
Contracting Parties receive a personal, non-transferable right to use these materials solely for their own non-commercial purposes.
Any reproduction, distribution, publication, translation, modification, recording or commercial use requires the prior written consent of EISCOM.
Sharing login credentials for digital platforms or protected areas is strictly prohibited.
Personal data are processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms & Conditions.
These Terms & Conditions are governed exclusively by Swiss law.
The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Altdorf (Canton of Uri), Switzerland, subject to mandatory statutory jurisdictions.
Should any provision of these Terms & Conditions prove invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects its original purpose.
These Terms & Conditions may be made available in several languages. In case of discrepancies, the German version shall prevail.
EISCOM reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions and published prices at any time. The current version published on the EISCOM website shall apply.
